What Makes CrossFit Structure Different from a Regular Gym?

You can join a local leisure centre for under £40 a month — so why join CrossFit Structure?

At a regular “globo gym” you get cheap membership, 24-hour access and all the equipment you could want. But there’s a catch: you have to know what you’re doing. You need to move well, use the machines correctly and write your own training plan. And when motivation dips — as it always does — there’s nobody checking in on you. Nobody noticing it’s been seven days. Nobody who misses you.

At CrossFit Structure, we couldn’t be more different.

You Start With a Solid Foundation

Every new member goes through onboarding in their first month. During this time we make sure you’re moving well, safely and without pain. We cover the fundamentals of CrossFit so that when you’re standing in front of the whiteboard in your first class, the gibberish on it actually makes sense. And if it doesn’t? That’s exactly what our coaches are there for.

You Never Have to Figure It Out Alone

You don’t write your own workouts and hope for the best. Your class coach takes you through everything — the general warm-up, the specific warm-up, the strength work and the Workout of the Day (WOD). The programming is balanced, thought-through and progressive.

We follow structured strength cycles so you’re continually building. And because the workouts change day to day, even if some muscles are tired from yesterday, you can work different ones today. By the end of the week, you’ve had a genuinely well-rounded approach to your training.

You’re Part of a Community That Shows Up for You

Everyone trains together, cheering each other on and getting through the best hour of their day as a group. Find someone in your class at a similar fitness and strength level, and suddenly you’ve got a friendly rival — someone to chase, someone who pushes you to dig a little deeper. That kind of healthy competition produces gains you simply can’t manufacture training alone.

We check in with every single member. If you haven’t been in for a week or so, we notice — and we genuinely miss you.

You Have a Plan That’s Built Around Your Goals

Every three months we sit down with each member for a goal review. Everyone is working towards something slightly different — recovering from an injury, developing new skills, chasing personal bests, losing weight or building muscle. We measure your stats and make sure the plan is working. If it isn’t, we make changes. You are never left to figure it all out alone.

Why the Group Environment Works

There are three levels of intensity when it comes to pushing yourself:

Training alone — even if you’re experienced, there’s a ceiling on how hard you’ll push when nobody’s watching.

Group training — now someone is watching. A supportive coach who wants to see you hit your best. The rest of the class will mostly be too focused on their own workout to notice what you’re doing, but that energy in the room is real and it lifts everyone.

1-1 personal training — there’s nowhere to hide. Every person I’ve spoken to says the same thing: you always push just that little bit more when a coach is dialled in solely on you.

Group CrossFit sits in that sweet spot — the accountability of being seen, the energy of training together and the guidance of a coach who knows what they’re doing.

If you’re bored of waiting for machines while someone scrolls their phone between sets, maybe it’s time for a change.

At CrossFit Structure, if you have just an hour a day, we can get you moving in the right direction for your specific goals. You just need to show up and walk through the door.
