Last week we celebrated CrossFit Structure’s 4th birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to mark it — with an in-house team competition full of energy, laughter, and people pushing themselves in the best possible way.
Our members split into teams of four (two guys and two girls) and took on a series of team workouts designed to challenge fitness, teamwork, and mental grit. From the very first heat, the atmosphere was electric — plenty of encouragement, some healthy banter, and a lot of smiles.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing how many members were competing for the first time. Athletes of all abilities got involved, proving that CrossFit isn’t about being the “best” — it’s about showing up, giving your best, and supporting the people around you.
Even our CrossFit Kids got stuck in, taking on their own versions of the workouts and bringing just as much enthusiasm and determination as the adults.
The Workouts
The competition included three team-based workouts that tested different elements of fitness:
- A fast-paced opener combining synchro movements with a heavy barbell challenge
- A middle workout that turned into an all-out sprint, pushing lungs and legs to the limit
- A final workout that demanded teamwork, pacing, and grit right until the time cap
Only two teams managed to complete the final workout before time ran out — a huge effort from everyone involved.

More Than Just a Competition
Yes, everyone was tired (and sore!) afterwards — but what really stood out was the community.
Teammates encouraging each other, members cheering from the sidelines, and even the most competitive athletes celebrating each other’s wins. That’s what days like this are really about.
We know “community” is a word used by every CrossFit gym, but it genuinely is the heart of what we do. CrossFit Structure wouldn’t be what it is without people lifting each other up, supporting each other through tough workouts, and having a laugh along the way.
