We’re very excited to announce the launch of Thrive+, our brand-new 6-week program designed specifically for women navigating menopause and perimenopause.

This whole-health program brings together movement, nutrition, and expert medical advice to help you take back control and feel your best. Let’s meet the team behind Thrive+:

Working in collaboration with Dr Reem Al Shaikh

Dr Reem Al Shaikh completed her medical training at Guys Kings and St Thomas’s London in 2006 before moving to Cambridge to complete her GP training at Addenbrookes in 2011.

She has MBBS and MRCGP and holds the Diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Sexual and reproductive health and has the FSRH letter of competencies in IUDs (coils) and Subdermal Implants (contraceptive implants). She holds the Faculty of Sexual Reproductive Health Advanced Menopause Certificate and is a recognized British Menopause Society specialist.

She is also a GP trainer.Dr Reem Al Shaikh carries over a decade of experience as a full-time GP partner working within the NHS. This work has included expert women’s health appointments, specialist menopause clinics, education and contraceptive procedure clinics. She is passionate about women’s health, well being, longevity and vitality.

Dr Reem Al Shaikh runs her own private clinic – Women’s Wellness Clinic; ‘we are dedicated to transforming women’s healthcare. We believe in a personalised approach that prioritises your individual needs and concerns. We offer comprehensive care for women of all ages, from contraception and PMS to menopause and beyond.’

Katie HenryBSc(Hons) RD

Katie 1

Katie is a UK Registered Specialist Dietitian with over 20 years of experience. She has worked in the NHS, private practice and provided specialist health coaching to remote digital health companies.

She specialises in weight management, Diabesity (Diabetes & Weight Loss) gastroenterology and womens health. Katie works both privately and for the NHS.

Aaron Scott

Aaron owner of CrossFit Structure

Aaron is a CrossFit Level 3 coach a decade of experience. His passion for how the body movesled him to study StrongFit Principles. StrongFit is a training method that emphasizes efficient and functional movement. It aims to identify and address physical weaknesses or imbalances through targeted exercises, promoting a strong, balanced, and healthy body. StrongFit is also known for its focus on understanding the correct movements and natural flow of the human body. Aaron continued a mentorship for 3 years under Julien Pineau ( StrongFit Founder) & Richard Aceves learning how to connect strength training with pain management and functional movement.

What is the Thrive+ program?

Thrive+ is a 6-week personalised program designed to support you through menopause and perimenopause by combining:

✅ Weekly 1:1 coaching with Aaron to address movement issues and build strength around the symptoms you’re experiencing.
✅ Bi-weekly nutrition sessions with Katie (via Google Meet) to assess your current habits, help to balance blood sugar control and guide you towards sustainable change.
✅ A one-off consultation with Dr Reem (online or in person) to review your symptoms, provide expert advice, and (with your permission) liaise with your GP about any recommendations.

If medical treatment or blood work is needed, Dr Reem will provide expert input while your own GP can continue care locally — with added support from a menopause specialist.

What happens after the 6 weeks?

If you want to keep going — we’ve got options:

  • Continue 1:1 coaching with Aaron under our regular PT plans
  • Continue nutrition support with Katie on an ongoing basis
  • Book follow-ups directly with Dr Reem whenever you choose (we’re happy to help facilitate if needed)
